Walk-In Information

Availability changes during the day
Walk-in care depends on physician schedules, patient volume, and the complexity of patients already waiting. Capacity may be limited or close early.
Call before travelling. Reception can confirm whether walk-in service is currently available but cannot guarantee the exact wait time.
Walk-in care is generally for
- New urgent symptoms
- Minor illness
- Selected minor injuries
- Short-term concerns needing assessment
- Concerns that are not life-threatening
- Issues that fit the available appointment time
- Follow-up directed by an Old Orchard physician
- Care that does not require emergency resources
Plan scheduled care when possible
Complex concerns, ongoing medication management, multiple issues, forms, detailed reports, preventive examinations, and chronic disease review may require a scheduled appointment.
Whenever possible, ongoing conditions should be managed by the patient’s regular family physician to support continuity and safe follow-up.
Emergency symptoms
Call 911 or go to an emergency department for chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, stroke symptoms, severe injury, major bleeding, loss of consciousness, or another medical emergency.
