Selected medical concerns may be reviewed by telephone when a physical examination is not initially required.
How to request a phone consultation
Call the clinic at (604) 431-6585. The front desk will speak with you and arrange for a doctor to connect with you when available.
Please have your Personal Health Number ready. Video consultations are not currently available.
Often suitable for
Follow-up appointments, reviewing test results, selected prescription renewals, and discussion of ongoing health conditions.
May require an exam
New or worsening symptoms, injuries, procedures, or concerns requiring a physical assessment may need an in-person visit.
Contagious symptoms
Telephone care may be a useful first step if you have fever, cough, flu-like symptoms, vomiting, diarrhea, or other infectious concerns.

What happens next
A physician may review symptoms, discuss treatment options, provide advice, arrange follow-up care, or determine whether an in-person examination is necessary.
If urgent or emergency care is required, do not wait for a phone consultation. Call 911 or seek emergency medical care.
